Andrew Rechtman
Andrew is an experienced executive advisor, working primarily in the online classifieds, proptech and payments industries. Currently based in Barcelona, Andrew has held C-level roles with REA Group and PayPal in Australia, and for the last four years has worked with leading marketplaces, scale-ups and private equity businesses in Europe, the US , Middle East and Australasia. Prior to his executive roles Andrew worked in strategy consulting with Bain and Company for ten years, where he focused on the technology and telecommunications sectors.
Andrew holds a Masters Degree from Johns Hopkins University and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Melbourne in Australia. While English is his mother tongue, Andrew has an advanced level of Spanish, Italian and French.
Vanesa Carceller
Vanesa is an executive advisor and investor working across industries but with a strong background in real estate and proptech. She is focused on achieving real, sustainable growth in the B2B environment, including turnarounds, business development, M&A, strategy, transformation and change management. She currently sits on 2 Advisory Boards.
With extensive international experience across the USA, Australia and Europe, Vanesa has held senior leadership roles at JLL, Servihabitat, and Apollo Management, and other top companies, driving strategy, growth and leading substantial business transformations. Prior to that, Vanesa worked with the consulting firms Bain & Company and Accenture, where she focused on strategy and technology led change. Over the last three years Vanesa has advised both established enterprises and scaleups in Europe in the proptech, SaaS and real estate sectors. She is an avid investor in most alternative asset classes as well as a business angel.
Vanesa holds a MBA from IESE Business School, a BSc in Economics by Universitat Pompeu Fabra. and a Masters in Tokenization by Tutellus Group. She's bilingual in English and Spanish, with advanced Catalan and Italian and a basic command of French.
